Dr. C. T. "Tommy" Hamrick, III Dr. Tommy Hamrick has maintained a private practice in Greenville, South Carolina for more than thirty years. Dr. Hamrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Citadel in 1969. Following graduation, he served for four years as an officer in the United States Army Reserve. Dr. Hamrick went on to complete his dental training at the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine and obtained his specialty training in periodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hamrick has extensive experience in periodontal therapy, cosmetic periodontal surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy. He is a past president of the Greenville County Dental Society and past Chairman of the Greenville Hospital System's Department of Dentistry. He has also served as Chairman of the Ethics Committee for the South Carolina Dental Association. He is a current member of the Greenville County Dental Society, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Periodontology. Dr. Hamrick has also been a member of several study clubs in the Greenville area and remains committed to continuing education. He is married with two children and one grandchild and enjoys hunting and horseback riding. Dr. Hamrick remains dedicated to his lifelong profession and truly enjoys helping his loyal patients meet their dental goals.
Dr. J. F. "Eric" Hamrick As a periodontist, Dr. Eric Hamrick enjoys providing his patients with the highest level of care and expertise. Dr. Hamrick graduated from Florida Southern College which was followed by the completion of his dental training at the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine. He then obtained his specialty training in periodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a past president of the South Carolina Society of Periodontics and the Greenville Dental Society. He currently maintains privileges with the Greenville Hospital System and is a past chairman of its Department of Dentistry. Dr. Hamrick is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and is a member of the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Osseointegration, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Greenville County Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He has recently been appointed to the academic faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine as a Clincial Assistant Professor. Dr. Hamrick has extensive experience in periodontal therapy, cosmetic periodontal surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy. He is one of the few South Carolina dentists who is a certified Wilckodontics provider. offering Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics. He has lectured locally and nationally on topics including dental hygiene concepts, implant-orthodontic-restorative relationships, guided implant therapy and virtual treatment planning. He hosts a study club which provides exceptional continuing education for he and his colleagues. Dr. Hamrick has maintained a private practice in Greenville, South Carolina for more than twenty years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children and is an avid outdoorsman. His greatest interests still include his fascination with dentistry, discovering and applying cutting edge technology and meeting the diverse needs of his patients.
Dr. Ryan J. Voelkert Dr. Voelkert’s mission as a periodontist is to deliver the best possible care to his patients by utilizing skill, training and communication. Dr. Voelkert received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University and then completed his dental training at the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine. While there, he went on to complete his specialty training in periodontics, and also obtained his Masters of Health Science. Dr. Voelkert has extensive training in periodontal and regenerative therapy, cosmetic periodontal surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy. He is one of the few South Carolina dentists who is a certified Wilckodontics provider, offering Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and is a current member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Southern Academy of Periodontology, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Greenville County Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He maintains privileges with the Greenville Hospital System and has recently been appointed as an Adjunct Instructor to the faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina. He has also presented lecture programs, speaking on subjects including periodontal maintenance techniques, bisphosphonate medications affecting dental treatment, implant-orthodontic-restorative relationships and dental implant concepts. Dr. Voelkert has also completed research and presented topics in the United States and Canada regarding alveolar ridge preservation and immunologic concepts. He has maintained a private practice in Greenville, South Carolina since 2004 and enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children.
